Hairloupe Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data across two distinct services: the HairLoupe device and app, and our clinical consultation service.

The HairLoupe App

The HairLoupe app does not collect, transmit or store any personal data. All images and videos captured using the device are stored locally on your device only. No data is sent to any server.

Information We Collect — Website and General Enquiries

If you contact us by email or submit an enquiry via our website, we collect only the information you voluntarily provide — such as your name and email address. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Consultation and Medical Data

When you book a consultation or purchase a package that includes clinical services, we collect and process health-related information as part of providing that service. Consultation data is managed separately by Hair Loss London and any queries regarding your clinical data should be directed to info@hairlosslondon.com.

The information we may collect includes:

  • Personal details (name, date of birth, phone number, address)
  • Scalp images you share with our clinical team for assessment
  • Blood test results you provide or that are arranged on your behalf
  • Medical history and hair loss history relevant to your consultation
  • Prescribed treatment details where applicable

This information is classified as special category health data under UK GDPR. We process it on the basis of your explicit consent and for the purpose of providing the clinical service you have requested.

How We Store and Protect Your Medical Data

  • Consultation records are held securely and accessed only by the clinician conducting your assessment
  • Blood test results are used solely for the purpose of your consultation
  • We do not share your health data with any third party other than the laboratory arranging your blood test and the clinician reviewing your case
  • You have the right to request access to or deletion of your health data at any time by contacting info@hairlosslondon.com.

Retention of Medical Records

We retain consultation and clinical records for a minimum of 10 years in accordance with our professional insurance policy and clinical governance requirements.

How We Use Your Data

We do not sell, share or transfer your data to any third party, with the exception of:

  • Our partner laboratory when you request a blood test arrangement
  • The consulting specialist who reviews your case
